Ruby is a senior executive in the local government sector. She has over 25 years’ experience of transforming services and leading change in large, complex organisations and political environments. Her skills include: stakeholder engagement, corporate turnaround, service re-design, and co-created innovation with clients across public, private and third sectors, with UK and European municipalities. Her council officer and senior consultant roles span strategic leadership, policy, governance, efficiency and value for money, partnerships and delivering excellence and innovation across different services and businesses. She managed the UK government’s national best practice and innovation Beacon Scheme for 6 years.
She holds a Director’s MBA (Manchester Business School), a Masters in Women Studies and Politics, a graduate of Advanced Executive Leadership Programme (Ashridge Business School), and is currently a candidate of the Executive Diploma in Digital Business Leadership. Ruby is trained to industry standard in Whole Systems Change, Safeguarding Children & Young People; and also Safeguarding Vulnerable and Older Adults. Ruby is a Steering Group member of the pan-sector Women in IT Group, and the Executive Stellar Group of the British Computing Society. Outside of work Ruby enjoys languages, travel, sports and reading.
