Nicky works with individuals and organizations to develop productive cultures, manage risk in challenging environments and to encourage people to articulate concerns and needs, and to engage in personal development. She works to help people realise their potential in the workplace and in their personal lives, and to enhance organisational performance.

Nicky is experienced in coaching, training, learning and development, career development and recruitment. She is skilled in the use of psychometric and diagnostic assessments with wide experience working with individuals from school age through to and beyond retirement.

Nicky is working with RCS on the WCVA evaluation of the Active Inclusion Fund where she designed and delivers approaches to engage with hard to reach individuals and groups to inform the evaluation, including through social media, real time observations of participant and trainer interactions, and she is developing good practice profiles for interactions with challenged or disengaged individuals. She is also engaged in a pioneering project in working with BetterUp Inc to use social media to coach managers around the world.
In a wide-ranging career, Nicky has worked with the international mining industry to design and deliver coaching to improve leadership and to apply techniques such as emotional intelligence to change behaviours in relation to risk. She has also worked with the Saudi Arabian health service on improving leadership and performance. She works with UK voluntary organisations to improve and motivate volunteer engagement and support, and worked as a councellor at camp Lesotho, enabling children with HIV+ to express, learn and develop.

Academic work includes teaching MBA and post graduate students at the American University of Beirut and at CASS (City University Business School). Publications include in the International Journal of Theory, Research & Practice, and she has worked with the BBC on the history of intelligence. Nicky has a BSc in Psychology and Sociology, an MSc Organisational Behaviour and a Certificate of Coaching from the centre of Centre for Coaching. She is a member of the British Psychological Society, the Special Group of Coaching Psychologists and the Psychological Testing Centre (BPS). She is also Vice Chair of a community owned social enterprise.
