Internet and Digital

The internet and digital revolution has transformed the environment in which public services have to be designed and operated, and in the ways they are experienced and used by people and communities. We understand both the opportunities, the barriers, and the risks which accompany efforts to exploit these possibilities, and we have relevant experience and understanding in a number of key areas, including:

  • Web-enabled service delivery
  • Transformational change
  • Infrastructure and connectivity, and ‘smart city’ developments
  • The domain name system
  • Social media
  • Digital learning platforms and knowledge hubs
  • Strategic planning for digital service development

One particular project led by an RCS Principal involved the design, development and delivery of an integrated web-enabled learning platform linked to social media, operating as a network to bring and help hold together groups of widely dispersed learners. The documentation is available on request. Also, one of our Principals led the initial design and implementation of the Local Government Association led LGInform data service for local government.

Through our Associates we are able to draw on a wide range of specialists in the design and delivery of digitally enabled services, and in the change and organisational implications of channel shift.
